One site – many tasks

We are proud of our long tradition. No paper mill is as closely associated with the art of paper making as Gohrsmühle in Bergisch Gladbach, the second oldest mill in the town. Today, it is a modern, international site fulfilling a wide variety of functions within the M-real company. It is not just the M-real Speciality Papers business area headquartered here. M-real Deutsche Holding GmbH and the Legal Services and Group Energy of the Metsäliitto Group are also based on the factory premises which are 350,000 m² in size. But that is not all. Gohrsmühle is still an important production site for high-quality fine papers. Our approximately 800 employees produce almost 300,000 tons of paper annually – mainly cast-coated CHROMOLUX papers and uncoated, as well as coated speciality papers.
